Nice article in Science about how to leverage social network analysis to understand soccer games.

This raises some questions like: do the number of facebook friends of PL players influence their rankings?

  1. Great finding, Mr B. And it seems rather reliable.
    Plus I love the way the authors use their modelization to stigmatize at the end their colleagues work and help.

    The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced we should call ourselves not PL but "OuProPo" (untranslatable: potential prognosis community).
